(I wish I was awesome)

You probably know my feelings about the Penny Dreadfuls. 1. They are an awesome sketch troupe. 2. These are their awesome sketch stuff that was on the radio. Just listen to them. Yep.
The Favershams are Victorian-era, Guy Fawkes and the French Revolution are pretty self-explanatory. Miles Jupp and Ingrid Oliver co-star alongside Humphrey Ker, David Reed and Thom Tuck; for the specials there are awesome guest stars.

As usual, all of my other comedy uploads can be found here.
If I didn’t already have these, I would be downloading them SO FAST. Cannot recommend them enough.
Whilst it was on, I cherished We Need Answers like a platinum watch or a baby with a fabulous moustache.
With more hosts (three) than contestants (two), it shouldn’t really work as a quiz, but the genuinely great premise, ridiculous questions/challenges and outright surreal presentational style just tie it together into a hugely silly comic gem.
Alex Horne provides his trademark sound and graphics, the ever-affable Tim Key is the question-master and Mark Watson oversees proceedings, offering witticisms from the sidelines.
It’s all on YouTube, so go find it (and love it as much as me).
Yes.
And you know Vader’s gonna bring some lameass jello-mold or something.
Or that inappropriate cake. AGAIN.
The internets makes the best bits of Stars Wars better.

Trust me. I’m the Doctor (and Detective).
I am convinced that the front door of 221b is, in fact, the TARDIS. And the Doctor is merely biding his time…
(If you like this, please credit. It took me a whole twenty minutes to make. Also, I cannot for the life of me find where I got the photo of the door, so please, if you can tell me, do so and I will credit. <3 Ilu all!)
Oh, and yes, it says “Pull to open,” however as we all know, the way in is to push. ;)

An Ood what I cross stitched.
Ood chart by meredee from here - which I altered a somewhat at the shoulders. The words and border are my own additions. Thought the Ood themselves would choose a no-nonsense border, plus I couldn’t be bothered to try anything more difficult - this was my first non-kit cross stitch. Maybe there was a little subconscious influence from the ‘Your Country Needs You’ WW2 poster?
One day, when I have a place of my own, this will go in the kitchen.
Abortion in America — increasingly illegal in all but name for everyone except the rich.
In states across the country, women are being arrested for the crime of ending their own pregnancies—though they have a constitutional right to do so in a doctor’s office.
Underground abortions have returned to the United States, just as pro-choice activists have warned for years. And women have started going to jail for the crime of ending their own pregnancies, or trying to.
This week Jennie L. McCormack, a 32-year-old mother of three from eastern Idaho, was arrested for self-inducing an abortion. According to the Associated Press, McCormack couldn’t afford a legal procedure, and so took pills that her sister had ordered online.Underground abortions have returned to the United States, just as pro-choice activists have warned for years.

OH GOD.
I just feel panic. I don’t live in America, but as a girl who never wants kids, I can imagine the fear and isolation of unwanted pregnancy.

Stitch markers I made for my Mum, with my very uninspiring desk as a background.
Before I did crafts, my life was empty.
“Gentlemen, the Empire is in dire crisis and it falls to we, the gentlemen of the Athenaeum and our unique gifts, to tip the balance in Her Majesty’s favour.”
Every time I walk past, I think QUICKLY, TO THE EXODUS FLUMES! and then laugh.
